How Does the Program Work?
Purchase a reloadable gift card for $5 from the Clear Sky PTO. You will receive a card with $5 on it. Prior to purchasing your groceries, reload the gift card with the cashier. Reloadable gift cards can be used to purchase virtually anything at King Soopers, except services. (Exempt services include Western Union money orders, Ticketmaster, postage stamps, lottery tickets, and other gift cards.) Gift cards can be used at King Soopers and City Market fuel centers!
Reloading
Each time you shop, reload your card with the cashier. You can use cash, checks, or a charge card to reload up to $500 at a time. The gift card must be reloaded in a separate transaction prior to your groceries being scanned. (When a card is reloaded at the customer service desk or at a register other than where your groceries are scanned, there is a five-minute delay before the funds will be available.)
Funds
Every time we reach $5,000 or more in reloads and orders with King Soopers’ four-week cycle, Clear Sky earns 5% on the total amount:

Think about it — This means that only seven families who spend around $750 per month at King Soopers need to participate, but imagine if all 500+ Clear Sky families would do this!
Clear Sky will get a check and a report every four weeks with how much money was earned. If we don’t reach $5,000, the money will carry over into the next four-week cycle.
Additional Card Sales
You can buy as many cards as you would like. Anyone who shops at King Soopers is a potential customer (e.g., relatives, neighbors, friends, and co-workers). King Soopers gift cards are accepted at most Kroger-affiliated stores throughout the United States. These include:

Additional Information
- Cards may become demagnetized. Have the cashier key in the card number and use the balance. Then, purchase a new card from the Clear Sky PTO.
- Cards with a zero balance will become inactive after 90 days and you will need to purchase a new one.
- Lost, stolen, damaged, destroyed, or tossed cards will not be replaced by King Soopers.
- Gift cards cannot be purchased directly from King Soopers. They must be purchased from the Clear Sky PTO. The cards at the store are not linked to GBBC.
- There are four ways to get your gift card balance: the bottom of your receipt, from your cashier, from www.gcbalance.com, or call 866.822.6252.
- Do not throw away your card after the value is depleted. Reload it!
