Join us at Clear Sky Elementary on Friday, September 28th from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and get ready for fun ~ we will have carnival games, bounce houses, dunk tank (bring $1), food trucks, and vendor boutique - with local businesses selling home products & decor, clothing, pet products, jewelry, art, wood signs, bath & body, and so much more! We kicked things off with a Pep Rally on Tuesday, September 11th, Families will then gather pledges for every lap your student runs (30-35 laps), and we’ll celebrate at the Fun Run on September 20th. With our big goal of raising $33,000 for resources to support understanding and teaching of social and emotional intelligence and scooter storage! We asked the Fun Run experts at Boosterthon to power our Fun Run and make it easier, more profitable, and more fun. This year’s theme is MindSpark Mystery Lab. #MindSpark is a mystery theme that combines S.T.E.A.M. skills (Science , Technology , Engineering , Arts , & Math ) with character building. In this incredible, science-infused character theme, your students will help a team of brainy kids solve problems using a super-lab hidden inside a school. While they’re teaming up with the MindSpark Kids to solve mysteries, your students will learn five 21st-century character traits that will help strengthen themselves and our world: *Citizenship * Growth Mindset * Zest * Integrity * Teamwork Donations will go toward resources to support understanding and teaching of social and emotional intelligence, scooter storage and to the entire two-week experience. It’s time for another rewards collection contest! Start collecting Box Tops to help earn free money for Clear Sky. Please use a collection sheet or zip lock bag, and be sure to include your child’s teacher name. Collection boxes are located in each classroom. The classroom that collects the most points wins a cupcake party! Turn in your sheets or bags to your teacher by Monday, October 1st. Good Luck and happy collecting! (Please no expired Box Tops.) |
