PTO Board positions

Have you wondered what the PTO does, or how to get involved. We have several positions that will be open next school year and we need your help!
Every position available is a minimal time commitment per month, easy and fun. A way to help give back to the staff and school.

The Board meets monthly, usually the third Monday of the month at 3 pm for about an hour.  Then we have a General meeting once a quarter, although in non-covid times meeting more regularly might help get more involvement. Depending on what all goes on that meeting lasts an hour or less.

OPEN POSITIONS
Vice President  assist the president, stand in when the president is not available. In the past this position also does the rewards position if there is not one appointed.

Secretary takes minutes for all meetings, types them up and shares them.

Rewards position Update the blog and website, Box Tops, and any other community reward program.

Member at large is a member that attends the meetings and helps out with committees, they can also be a committee chair.

Committees vary in time commitment depending on the events, in the past we have had Fall Festival, Adult only Spring Event, Donuts with Dudes, Dodgeball, Moms breakfast, last day activities, conference staff meals, teacher appreciation week, spirit nights at local restaurants. 

Several of the positions are currently vacant or will be at the end of the school year. We need people to volunteer to be on the PTO board to continue the PTO moving forward next year.
